Gandhi Jayanti is celebrated on October 2 every year to mark the birth anniversary of Mahatma Gandhi who is also known as the ‘Father of the Nation’. This year will be the 152nd birth anniversary of Mahatma Gandhi. Gandhiji was one of the leading figures of India’s freedom movement. To mark his contributions to India’s Independence, every year his birth day is celebrated as Gandhi Jayanti.
