On the occasion of death anniversary of Bishnu Prasad Rabha, an icon of Assamese culture , 'Rabha Divas' is celebrated in Assam on June 20 every year. This great person immensely contributed to the literary, cultural and political field of Assam. He was an artist, singer, lyricist, music composer, actor , litterateur and architect. To commemorate this day many organisations, schools and colleges organise different types of programmes like quiz competition, dance,  song, art competition etc.
